8.2 MTBF & MTTR

Overview: Shows the reliability of each machine. MTBF is the average time between breakdowns; MTTR is the average time taken to repair.

Purpose: Track machine reliability using Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).

Procedure

1.      From the Maintenance Department menu, open MTBF & MTTR.

2.      Review the recorded reliability entries for each machine.

3.      To add an entry for a machine registered in the Machine Master, follow 8.2.1.
