5.2.3 Instruction Type

Overview: When adding instructions to a step, you choose whether to upload a PDF or write the instructions in the built-in editor.

Purpose: Choose how the instructions for a step are provided: as an uploaded PDF or written in the built-in editor.

MENU PATH Menu › Production Planning › Process Steps › View › Add Instruction

Procedure

1.      Click Add Instruction on the process step.

2.      Select the instruction type: PDF upload or editor.

3.      Upload the PDF, or type the instructions in the editor.

4.      Save the instruction.
