5.3.1 Create Product

Overview: A form for defining a new product: its part number, name, specifications, quality checks and the raw materials it uses.

Purpose: Create a new product and link it to the raw materials it consumes.

MENU PATH Menu › Production Planning › Product Management

Procedure

1.      Enter the Product Part Number, Product Name and other product details.

2.      Select the raw materials already created in the Inventory module (see 4.2) and enter the quantity required.

3.      Click Create Product.
